James Beckwith is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Five Star Bank and its holding company, Five Star Bancorp. He came to Five Star Bank in 2003 with over 20 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Five Star Bank, James served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for National Bank of the Redwoods, in Santa Rosa, California. James graduated from San Francisco State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. James serves on the boards of Valley Vision, LEED (Linking Education & Economic Development), Sacramento Metro Chamber, and Community Bankers of California.

Eric Woodstrom joined Five Star Bank in December of 2006 as the President, Northern Valley Region in Redding California. He brings over 25 years of commercial lending and banking experience to Five Star Bank, the last eight years in Northern California as an executive officer of a Redding based bank. Eric leads Five Star Bank's expansion into the Northern end of the Sacramento Valley with the opening of a full service banking office during March of 2008 in Redding. He is active in the Redding community through involvement on various citizens committees, Redding East Rotary, youth/amateur sports organizations and Scouting. Eric is a Sacramento area native and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in financial management from California State University, Long Beach.

Mike Lee joined Five Star Bank in 2005 as Chief Financial Officer bringing over 14 years of bank regulatory experience with the FDIC. In 2007, Mike transitioned into the position of Chief Credit Officer. He is responsible for all administrative functions related to lending. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from Midwestern State University in Texas.

Bill Nagel joined Five Star Bank in 2001 with over 30 years experience in the banking industry. His extensive banking knowledge assures an understanding of commercial and residential developer needs. With over 20 years experience in the Sacramento area, Bill knows the Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo and Nevada county markets. His responsibilities include servicing the bank's existing commercial real estate developer and investor clients, and expanding the bank's client base. Bill earned his Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of San Francisco.

John Shelby joined Five Star Bank in 2003 as a Business Development Officer specializing in commercial real estate lending. John has nearly 15 years' experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining Five Star Bank he was with Sonoma National Bank. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Sacramento. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. John is a member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento, the Sutter Club, the Dante Club, Park Terrace and is a longstanding board member of the Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) and the Broker of the Year Committee (BOYA).

Jean Peterson joined the Five Star Bank team in 2007 as Vice President, Manager of the Redding branch. Jean brings over 30 years of banking experience in both lending and operations. Prior to joining Five Star Bank, Jean spent 10 years with North Valley Bank as Senior Vice President, Manager of the Residential Mortgage Division and 17 years as Vice President, Branch Manager of Heart Federal Savings and Loan (US Bank) in Chester.

Mike Rizzo joined Five Star Bank in 2005 as a Business Development Officer. He is the driving force behind the bank's focus on Venture Banking. With 20 years of experience in the banking industry, Mike's focus is on venture-funded and angel-funded companies in technology, life sciences and clean energy. He enjoys helping clients realize their envisioned success. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Sacramento. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Mike serves on the board of SARTA, and is involved in several other groups in the capital region that support the emerging markets.

He has over four years of banking experience, most recently with Excel National Bank in Sacramento, CA and is knowledgeable in business acquisitions as well as commercial real estate loans. George graduated from California State University Chico, with a degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Active 20/30 Club of Sacramento.

She has more than ten years of SBA Lending experience, most recently with IronStone Bank in Roseville, CA. Lisa graduated from Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO, with a degree in Math and Actuary Science and is a member of the Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) and Roseville Chamber of Commerce.
